Explain what is in the pile
Green cuttings, branches and leaves are different from a pile containing soil, rubble, fence panels or unwanted garden furniture. Photograph the contents from more than one side and tell us about anything hidden underneath.
You do not have to work out a van-load size. Show the extent of the waste and whether it is loose, bagged or in containers. If the pile contains unfamiliar materials, mention them in the message so the collection can be assessed properly.

Access matters as much as the amount
Show the gate, side passage or other route to the garden. Mention steps, narrow turns and whether the route passes through the house. Tell us how close a collection vehicle could get, without assuming that a public road or shared space is available for loading.
If you are still doing the garden work, say whether more waste will be added. Photos of the final amount make it easier to agree the right scope. Share a deadline if the garden needs to be ready for another job or a handover.
Garden waste or a storage-space clearance?

A structure appearing in a photograph does not make dismantling part of the job. Describe the work you want, including whether a structure is staying, so our team can discuss what is possible before anything is arranged.

What if green waste is mixed with other items?
Show and describe the different materials. A mixed pile needs its own assessment; do not describe it only as green waste.
Can I arrange a particular day?
Tell us your preferred day and any deadline. A collection is arranged after the job has been assessed and agreed.
